Of course, the tire dealers jumped on this, since there were getting $5.00 per tire for a disposal fee. Therefore, the dealer was making $3.00 per tire.
The Kellyy's would bring in trailer loads of tire into their property and dump them in the deepest holler they could find. Then after the sun set and all was dark, they burned the tires.
Perfect plan, burn at night, in a deep hollow so nobody saw the flames or smoke.
