The model #31 backhoe was used on tractor models 310D, 310E, 530, 540, 530SL. What's confusing is the single power steering cylinder. The 530's I've seen have the twin small cylinders tucked under the engine. : The casing numbers unfortunately don't mean a whole lot. Different engines can be made from the same block casting.
