JDSeller, I have been saying the same thing for years when it comes to Sears and online shopping. I remember as a kid riding with my parents into town to pick something up at the Sears Catalogue store and remember when I heard it was closing. Made no sense to me. They had stores in Decorah, Elkader and Prarie Du Chien in this are. When they closed down those stores they gave up a lot of their business. Nearly every farm in the are had some Craftsman tools, after the closing farmers just went to the other stores in the area to purchase what they needed. They weren't going to drive two hours for something common and no one should have expected them to either.
I walked in the Sears in Lacrosse last year when we happened to be killing time, it was a disgrace. All I saw was cheap clothes that looked expensive and a half stocked tool area.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
