Jim, I don't think anyone is disagreeing with your statement that a ANNUAL inspection isn't going to catch something that happens 6 months before or after the inspection. But simply doing away with the inspection system is going to give you more people who simply ignore the problems. And if you want more cops out there doing this stuff, you're going to meet even more dissent than what you have now.
