A freind of mine has a a very early two cylinder JD power unit that is the same size as a B tractor engine. He has checked with several people and cannot find any info on it. He thinks it was probably built by the Larson(or Lorson) Co., which had been bought out by John Deere. This model has an old drip type oiler, belt driven cooling fan, and a flywheel on each side. He also wants to find out the original mag was, he put a coil and homemade distributer on it to run it for now. There are traces of green and red paint on it. If any one can tell me the model, year, or any other info on it, please let me know.
