It IS possible to re-wind the magnet section of your clutch in your shop..
Clean it good and purchase the same size magnet wire..Length is figured according to the Voltage DROP per foot.
What you need for wire length is enough length to have a FULL 12V Voltage Drop across that wire..end to end..
Wind NEAT coils of the wire, tieing it in neat bundles as necessary, until it will lay IN the groove for the magnet wire..NEATLY..it must, as you will be pouring 30 minute Epoxy into that area until it is full..( be sure to have one end of the wire Grounded internally) and leave enough tail to reach your connector..
When the epoxy is completely cured, you can install your re-built magnetic clutch..
