A couple weeks ago at a hay equipment field day they were running a windrow merger on a 686 sitting on 16.9x38 Firestones and it looked pretty good on those tires with five sets of wheel weights inside. When I got to looking at it a little closer it had a pyrometer on the dash and a turbo under the hood but it had no turbo decals and you couldn't hear the turbo when it was running. In a tractor that light I bet that D-312 with the turbo is a pretty snappy engine.
