Hi Folks I have an issue with my Ferguson TO30. It started bogging down and running very rough while I was bush hogging with it, I was barely able to get it out of the field. It will run smoothly for a bit and then rough as a cob.
It had been rained on, but that had never been much of an issue before. At any rate I drained the gas and no better, still rough. Friend of mine said maybe the coil had gotten too hot (we had done the 12v conversion last year) I put a new coil on it and it runs just the same.
Replaced the plugs, which looked really dark and flooded and no difference. Now the new plugs look just like the others did, dark and flooded.
I put the multi tester on it and the voltage seems good out of the coil, but I'm still not getting a super strong blue spark out of it.
I lightly sanded the points and rotor and it seemed to improve for a second or two, but as soon as I tried to drive it, it was back to being very under-powered and will not idle.

It increased the farm productivity and, in general, made life easier because more work could be done with this 'mechanical beast'. My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
