Hey y'all
We were able to get 3 one acre fields planted with pumpkins in between rain storms this year.
Field one and two are doing very well with no problems. The third field which is about 2.5-3 miles down the road from the first two is growing OK ... It was planted later than the first two so I expect it to catch up in the next week or so.
However when cultivating and spreading fertilizer yesterday noticed that this third field has a pretty sever infestation of squash bugs.
We are finding all three stages ... Eggs on the leaves, bright orange/yellow juveniles and the larger slate
Gray adults.
Anyone out there have any advice for dealing with these guys?
