I am a mechanic at a lawn mower shop. We repair equipment on a first come first serve order. The exception is if I can diagnose and fix it less than ten minutes or so. 98.6 percent of our customers understand this. There is that percentage of customers that think you should drop everything and fix their problem first no matter how long it takes or how many are ahead of them.
I worked at a semi trailer manufacturing plant for 13 years. 12 on second shift. The department I was in unloaded our own steel. Always enjoyed talking to the truck drivers.
The other thing is not being able to find parts I took off a project and put away. I have lost 2 tank mount clips for my JD A. I thought I put all four in the same container. As usual I will find them after I make or buy new ones.
