In a former lifetime, I was a forklift mechanic that kept about 30 old POS units running for a factory. Now you wouldn't want to buy a roll of wire just for a single use, but we always bought spark plug wire on rolls, in both solid wire and resister wire, and made single wires as we needed them. Connectors and the special pliers that crimped the ends was a necessity also. Once again, you wouldn't buy all this for one application, but perhaps some seasoned mechanic in your area would still have all these supplies where you could make your own. Next time.
