Posted earlier I was debating with myself between a used tractor and a new one. Used tractor had more features I liked but I was hung up on the advantage a warranty on the new tractor offered for this big investment. I wanted to leave the brand name out of the mix and just concentrate on the features and warranty, but you guys are really sharp and picked right up on my weak info. I should have figured as much, sorry guys. Anyway, prepped with advice from this forum I visited with the dealer and he was able to offer a very economical warranty extension on the used tractor, so problem solved. Today I picked up my new-to-me 2013 Massey 1635 (made by Isieki, sold new in late 2014) with 234 hours, cab, air, heat, quick attach loader, quick attach skidloader bucket, MFWD, and hydro. Extending the warranty an additional 3 years 600 hours thru AGCO cost only $610. I was considering Kubota and Mahindra equivalents but the Kubota was a lot more money and the Massey cab quality really impressed me over Mahindra. I had also considered Case IH (built by LS) and Deere. First tractor I've ever bought that didn't come with a list of things to fix!

I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
