I had a C-130 from Ripley buzz me one time when I was running the tractor. I guy gets tuned into the rhythm of equipment and the sound of the tractor. This guy came from behind me and I actually shut the tractor off because he was that low. Now mind you a C-130 doesn't have to be real low to get me to do that. Just low enough. As the tractor was shutting down I recognized his shadow and when I looked up I could see the pilot. I think he was laughing. My brother lived in Jay NY and said the A-10's were known to jump a guy as they flew the landscape of the Adirondaks. Said he had to carry extra toilet paper and you seldom heard them coming.
