This is the third thread started about climate change in the last 24 hours. So, since everybody else has their say, I will put in my little bit... As has been said, the climate is changing. I will believe that up to a point. I will not believe that it is man made. If that were so, it would imply that man has the power to alter the weather. If man had the power to alter the weather, would the country be in a deep freeze right now? Would hurricanes be allowed to reach land in populated areas? Would tornadoes not simply be turned off at the source? And, would other natural disasters also be neutralized? Of course! But, they are not. Simply because man does NOT have the power to alter the climate. Take another look at the earth itself. Volcanic eruptions put more pollution in the air in a few hours than an industrial city can in a decade. And, the earth recovers. And the recovery is generally a big improvement over how it was before the eruption. While I am at it, I would like to give the POTUS a hearty thank you for removing us from one-sided and unfair agreements regarding pollution. The Paris accord being foremost in my mind. Nations like China are "allowed" to pollute more in two weeks than we would have "saved" in 10 years. It is time to concentrate on reducing the REAL pollution where it is occurring - not where it is already cleaned up.

Today's Featured Article - Talk of the Town: Winterizing Engines - To Drain or Not to Drain? - by Russ Berry. What is this strange attraction I have to equipment and machinery? How did I get this way? I came from the suburbs and own a small horse farm in rural Loudoun County, Virginia. You can call me a "weekend farmer." The local farmers do. Does it bother me? No. I am just happy to have their friendship. At least the word "farmer" is in my title. But what is the attraction? How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
