I like most of your comments, I take strong exception to your "out or going out" comment. Unless you mean that (like life itself) everything ends up recycled. I know that a TA that, used brutally, can cast through two engine rebuilds from personal experience. My 350U was main tillage and every day use tractor and it still has the original TA and TA clutch. That TA was used by me on the Thanksgiving holiday for hours. Many others have seen similar thousands of hours of constant use. From gearing down under load and slowing for headlands, to starting in road gear TA and shifting. Some do fail, usually from being shifted slowly or not being used at all. With respect, Jim
