Geo could very well be right on the leak under the valve cover. I checked with my resident master Ford guru and he said the the return line to the tank can and will leak under the cover while the engine is not running. I stand corrected! Hats off to GEO! Helpful hint to Ford guys. Ford made a lot of injectors that look alike. Seems anybody will drop any old injector in an engine that looks the same. We get Ford injectors in all the time with two or three different nozzles in them, some right and some wrong.. This winter do your engine a favor and install a fresh set of injectors with new tips of the correct type. Never use rebuilt tips. Diesel Dan (the pump man) : Just to be on the cheap side I would still check under the valve cover first. This won't cost you any thing but time and maybe a gasket. The tractor haveing a low level return line is why I suspect a leak under the cover. But Diesel Dan has a strong case. Let us know what you find. : GEO
