: : I am interested in a PTO driven chipper. What do you like and don't like. Recommendations? Thanks! : I have a PATU DC-40. It is a manual feed unit for up to 4" sticks, driven by a 20 HP John Deere Diesel. It works very well for me. I was a bit leery of the manual feed, but properly sharpened and adjusted knives will "self feed", pulling the stick into the chipper. The tractor doesn't even know the chipper is there, once the flywheel is up to speed. So far, I can't think of a thing to complain about, I'm very satisfied. What brand is the PATU DC-40 that you have?? What does one cost?? Thanks
