I have a JD 4650 that the gauges are acting up on. There are three gauges that are acting up erratically. First is the engine oil pressure gauge with the needle is the one that is acting up not the light. The second light that is acting up is the trans pressure. The third light that is acting up is the hydrolic oil temperature. Just to clarify not all three come on at the same time. Usually one at a time displays. There is no order of how they display. It seems like if I turn the light switch all the way off and on quickly that the lights will go off and it will run for awhile without these warning lights coming on. It doesn't always do it, sometimes it will do every ten seconds and sometimes it may take a hour or two. I have grounded the cab again and cleaned up some connections underneath the battery on the side of the tractor you enter the cab on. This didn't make a difference.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what may be causing the gauges to display erratically off and on? I would appreciate any input. Thank you!

It is sometimes used so well you can't tell its there and other times used as a sloppy quick fix. Finding where and how it can be used correctly is key to whether you are using it as an "inelegant hack" or an integral solution to difficult and expens
