I like to use Non-Ethanol gas in my chain saws and small engines. My gas tractor uses too much too often to put Non- Ethanol gas in it. I make my own Non-Ethanol gas (check on YouTube to see how) I put 20oz of water with red food coloring in it, into 5 gal of gas and shake it up good and let it set over night. Then I use everything that's not red. I have measured the left over red water and ethanol, and it looks like I'am removing 20oz of water and about 8% ethanol. Some say you loose a couple points of Octane when you remove the ethanol so some times I buy mid grade or higher.
