I grabbed the wrong hose at the station this spring and filled my wife 2004 Pontiac GXP with an ethanol blend, before the tank was half gone it had injector/performance issues tried different additives to fix the problem, had a shop run the car on an injector cleaning machine, $600 later it runs fine. Thanks ETHANOL. FIL runs the ethanol I his tractors on tractor drives and has problems, runs regular no problems. At work state department atv/utvs all get regular, any small engines get regular, cars and pickups get blends until problems start. Ford Taurus models were the worst for vapor locking, boss kept a water jug to pour water over the fuel rail to cool when he was on the side of road. Another one got rearended as it quit in heavy traffic. NO ETHANOL for me. Fuel mileage on my 05 chevy better with regular and more power. Still a farmer at heart, but keep the corn out of fuel. Same thing with soydiesel had a lot of problems with the old injection pumps $$$.
