Been working on 4020 changing load bushings out
Dad told me while back that one side had an oversized already in it. He never changed the shaft he just put new bushings and seals. But he said that he put some heavy duty retainer compound around it to help hold it. So I’m guessing that the oversized bushing that he put in their was too small, went and looked on John Deere’s part schematic they show two - three different oversized bushings. I also saw where their was a die bore type cutter used to bore out the hole little handy tool if I could ever get one, but wanted to hear from other people personal references or past experiences, in looking to do the job right and make sure the bushing isn’t loose fitted that what I don’t want.
