I checked the cast wheels on both sides of my '48 M and they are both M1549T, orginial as far as I know, maybe someone switched one of yours with something else. The large nut holding the wheel is, I believe 1 7/8" diameter on both sides. I just bought a front cast wheel off a fellow here in PA, who is parting out an M and has some decent parts. If your interested I will give you his name and number, he might have a good rear wheel. Good luck!
