Called the dealer yesterday to find out if they had any idea when the new converter would be in for our 2014 Encore. No idea was what I was told. I asked if they had a loaner car and what it would cost and she told me there is no cost, just come over and get one. They gave us a 2019 GMC Terain that was new off the truck. We can put 500 miles on it then it goes back and we get another at no cost till they get our car fixed. The parts guy told me that there are so many of them going bad that they will probably issue a recall on them and the Chevy Cruz because they use the same ones and if they do I will get a full refund. I figured we'd get a used vehicle but was totally surprised with the new one. They must figure that we'll like it and decide to buy it WRONG, think we will hang onto the Encore since it's paid for and the Kubota still has 4 years to go with payments. Keith

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
