A rear brake line rusted out. I fixed it. It does not leak. I bled the brakes. All four of them. The pedal is still soft. The front right brake will lock up and slide the tire on blacktop. I put the car on Jack stands and we put the car in drive. Both tires were spinning. With light brake pressure, the right tire stopped. With harder application of the brake pedal, the left front slowed down, but did not stop. I removed the brake caliper and the piston moves out when the brake pedal is pushed down. I pushed the piston back in with a c clamp. The piston seems to be moving as it should. I loosed the clamp that goes around the rubber brake hose, hoping that it might be restricting the fluid flow, but it did not change anything. We have three brakes that are working properly and we still have the soft brake pedal. I would like some thoughts and suggestions on where my problem is on this car. I have a Pontiac that I can rob parts off of. But I hate to waste my time doing twice the work, if it isn't the proper fix. Thank you SDE
