Yesterday, I was clearing brush in gravel pit. A lot of white smoke came from under the hood. I turned off the engine, looked to make sure fire extinguisher was where it should be, then lifted the hood only to find the brush had removed the dipstick. Oil was coming out of engine and hitting the exhaust manifold.
Didn't lose that much oil. I need to invent a way to prevent that from happening again. Good thing the oil hit the manifold. If it hadn't I could have lost an engine.
Has anything like this happened to you where you lost an engine?
