No, didn't loose the engine, but had a real close call.
The drain plug fell out of the Bobcat engine. Luckily there were other people there and saw the oil trail, stopped the operator before it was too late.
The drain plug is inaccessible on those. The oil is drained from a capped hose. Evidently the plug was left loose when the engine was rebuilt by the previous owner. I was able to jack the engine up, tunnel through the dirt, find the plug and get it back in.
