NO SPARK HELP!

I have a wisconsin 16 hp. gas engine with no spark ! I replaced the coil . It has a magneto . I ohmed out the red wire coming from the coil and it shows ground ? its new . just paid 100.00 for the new coil please help! lol JOHN
