You read it backwards comrad. We realize they are made in Czeck. They went bankrupt in 1999 and that screwed up the parts supply for Zetor and JD both. When Tratka took over the plants the supply picked back up and we can get parts here. Zetor still builds the larger John Deere on contract for John Deere. Yanmar builds the smaller John Deere, Massey and Fords. They are pretty fair tractors but they are not cheap here in the states. The Zetor is between a Ford NH and a Massey price wise in my area. Americans do not care who builds a tractor as long as the American franchised dealer can supply financing and paint it green or red. I don't know what inovative ideas John Deere demanded on a Zetor built John Deere, but all the parts will interchange on some models so the new idea must have been to use thicker green paint maybe??
