I have a Case 310B w/backhoe and loader that I am restoring.Power steering is giving me fits, so I bought a new pump and put new o-rings in the steering ram.Sitting on the ground, it went all the way to the left, but refused to go back to the right.I removed the grease fitting to be sure it wasn't binding, but no change.I used the loader bucket to raise the front end up, and the wheels will turn both ways, but not without effort.Have replaced the o-rings between the barrel and cylinder twice to no avail.There was an extra o-ring that is a little larger than the other two, but I haven't figured out where it goes.Would it go on the bolt that has the small spacer??The hoses are installed as per instructions I have found in my service manual:top hose on pump to outside port on ram.Thanks in advance for your help.
