I did'nt say they we made in the states. They have'nt been made in the states for some years now. They are manufacured overseas and shipped here in unassembled units, then assembled here with Tiawan, Czeck, Chinese, Japanese and South American parts. I don't know where the actual point of manufacture is or was,
but the tags on the side of these JD cowling here at the farm says Buenos Aires. The Fords say Iseki-Japan amd the Masseys say Ursa-Poland. The American companies including Deere still have parts and equipment made in Japan and even Tiawan and China. It gets shipped to Buenos Aires and makes it's way into the states. Thanks to our wonderful NAFTA agreements. I mean who would want a skilled American to have to make his living on a descent wage to build tractors that we can pay more for that are made by feriners. If we trade tractor parts with Czecks and Chinese we can all draw welfare and complain about not having enough work here in the states. Plus that now we can wait 2-3 weeks for a JD or Ford part while Hung Pharr Low and his brother One Hung Low stamp them out in a forge without a EPA or OSHA man breathing down their necks???? Where is Iseki, Georgia??? The data plates on these Ford and JD injector pumps both have Iseki stamped in them. That Iseki, Georgia must be down stream from Buenos Aires, Tennessee beside the Mazda plants. Thes JD combine heads have had Buenos Aires on the crates since at least 83 or so. Even these Brouser Fords we have for turf harvesters are made in Canada. It looks like some of theis equipment we have made in the states could be better quality than Howse and International. One of the last good American products we have is Bushhog and now they use Tiawan steel and Chinese bearings.
