Oh Burrhead, I believe, that's a problem all araound the world, the first Golf(Rabbit ) had been made out of russian steel, they rusted up faster than you can look. And this is the true, american companies, who bought german plant's in the past try to get the american system of working to Germany, but this doesn't fit, we got an other mentality about working, and the Managers didn' realise this. All over the world the management is wrong, not the craftsmen. so long Bernhard

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
