I finally got to read the responses to my post. Southern Ray, you nailed it! I was out of town yesterday until my son called to say my sink was backed up. Daughter had been at the house baking. I got home about 5 and we worked on it till 9. Finally I poured a second gallon of draino in and went to bed. This morning it had drained so I boiled a couple of gallons of water and poured that in. Problem solved. Have I mentioned I hate plumbing.
