There wasn't any connection between AGCO and Fiat. White Motors made a deal with Fiat after the David Brown deal fell through in early 1963. White switched to Iseki as a source of their utility tractors in 1980,ending their deal with Fiat. In September 1980,White Motors filed bankruptcy and announced that Texas Instruments was talking over White Farm Division. After a short time,they were taken over by Borg Warner Acceptance Corporation,then by Allied Products,were merged in with New Idea,then in 1991 were purchased by Deutz-Allis Corporation and then Deutz Allis became Allis Gleaner Corporation (AGCO). So AGCO never had a connection with AGCO. They were a distant memory in the OLiver-MM-Cockshutt-White line long before AGCO ever owned the brands.
