The 2000 is slightly beyond my range of "interest," but may I offer a suggestion or two? Is the pump primed? I am not exactly sure of the configuration on the 2000, but there is/may be a pipe plug on the lower right front side of the center housing. Remove this plug, place a container below the hole, place the touch control lever in the down position, and start the engine. This should create quite a mess (pressurized oil flowing from hole, you know). If you do not have a mess, run the engine up a bit and see if the pump will prime. If this does not work, try pressurizing the center housing through the hydraulic oil dip stick. Sounds dumb, but it works on occasion. If, by this time, you are (a) not wading in hydraulic fluid, or (b) asking yourself why you listened to me in the first place, you need to check the flow control valve and spring, which are probably stuck. Check the "O" rings while you are in there. Still not working? Ok, ok, don't panic. Drive/tow the tractor to a relatively flat spot in the yard. Obtain a large, flat piece of cardboard or posterboard. Place the piece of cardboard (or whatever) on a flat, horizontal surface, and with a large, black marking pen write the words "For Sale" on the cardboard. Place on tractor. }:-) Dan NAA60512
