Steve, The advice on the Fords is right only for the older, three, four and five speed transmissions. That is the 9N/2N/8N NAA and hundred series. I have a friend that has 3.5 acres with a large 1/2 acre garden. He has a Ford 3000 (3 cyl. 1967 vintage) that he rototils with. He "fluffs up" his dirt, enriched with a LOT of horse manure, with the tiller to the point you can stick you hand in past your wrist. A Ford 3000 (or 3 cyl. 2000) with 8 speed tranny, or even an SOS like my buddys, might be good for you. Around here they are a little pricy, but that is because there is a good demand and not many on the used market. Good luck, and as the rest have said, ENJOY! Larry

I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
