i have a 2012 f250 6.7 68000 miles the other day check engine light came on had it checked don't have the code number right now but any way it was the heating element and sending level of the def fluid tank that was bad.. so looking to see how much it cost to have it fixed.. but i remember getting a letter from ford believe it was in july that ford had extended the warranty on the def heating element and sending level unit out to 11 years or 120,000 miles though well into the dealer i go and sure enough element in tank was bad and they put in shop pick it up next morning and no charge.... believe total cost was like 470.00 had i had to pay for it

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
