Our ground here turned white back in early Nov. and stayed that way. Temps hovered around the freezing point and rarely ever saw any resemblance of sun until this week.We have finally had some sunny clear days, but the temp has been hovering in the single digits and low teens. We were 1 below this morning and now 14F with lots of sunshine. At least it looks nice outside, instead of dark and gloomy. The weather watchers are saying that the monster snow storm is supposed to arrive here overnight Sat-Sunday night with around 16" of snow fall. I have plowed the driveway only once this season. The neighbor stopped buy the other day a made a pass at the end of the driveway to clear the plow bank. The state and town both seem to think that they need to ware out cutting edges and make divots along the shoulder of the roads with the wings though. I think the state has put down as many inches of salt on US 20 here as we have had inches of snow. The weather watchers have had nothing to hype so far this winter, so they are jumping all over this impending storm. Loren
