Indiana DOT (at least the northern areas, the ones that need it) refuse to put salt out and refuse to plow until everyone is at school and work. DUH> so it becomes a packed sheet of ice that they cannot plow. what about getting your buts up and plowing before we go to work?? shoot Ohio puts salt down BEFORE it snows. anyway enough rant about the dot.
we haven't had much snow here at all and until this we had been "mild". maybe 5 inches total for the winter. My folks in North Carolina have had three times that. we were looking at 5 to 9 inches here for Saturday but now looking like "Maybe" 1 to 3. who knows. DOn't understand this global warming nonsence of predicting a 1 degree global temperature increase over the next 30 years causing a catastrophe if we don't do something about it. THey need to get the 3 day forecast right before they worry about 1 degree over 30 years!
