Dean, I am actually very much a part of this world. I have only come to grips with reality. You are absolutely correct 30-40 years ago, the majority of supplies were made in the good ol' U.S.A. Now we are part of a Global Economy. As I look around yes people do want the best, "Bang for their Buck." Are you saying we use parts Made in Mexico because they are better quality? No; they are cheaper labor. People buy what is Cheapest! ex. Two distributors on a shelf. $25.00 top quality Made in America. $10.00 Made in Japan, same warranty: Which do you buy. A lot of parts are going overseas. Guess what? A lot of business in America comes from overseas. Global Economy. I just finished up a program designing for SAAB. I work for GM. My friend is a designers for Porsche. Our dollars might go overseas. So what! As long as the jobs stay in America, and yes they do stay in America. My father works for DaimlerChrysler. I would rather see a Germany company get rich, but retain American workers: As opposed to an American Company get rich by outsourcing to foreign companies. There are two ways to look at it. Must once again you must take in account Global Economy. One Country washes the other. =Peace
