Good day. This tractor has been converted to 12 volt. Was starting fine and then started to not engage crisply when the gear shift was put in the start posisition, now nothing. I am not familiar with how this system works. No selinoid on the starter etc. When I turn the key their is a sharp click sound but starter will not work. I used to cross the connections on selinoid on older cars to get to go but am not sure where selinoid is or if there is one. To complicate the matter further my son was jump starting another vehicle with the tractor and hooked up the connections backwards. Ground to negative on the car that was being jumped. Blew the fuse on the car, tractor kept running. Turned it off and Since then starter will not engage. Any suggestions.
