We as CASE dealers sold Muir Hill tractors also. Most of our local farmers were not big enough to step up to a Case 1470, and Case did not offer a MFD in conventional tractors like Oliver did. As said The M-H was based on the Ford 5000 which was likely the best ford tractor ever built. The earlier M-H's were powered with Perkins engines, and built lower similar to the Counties. and were painted white and brown. the later yellow and white 121's had a higher operators platform and cab, and had the Ford 6cyl. industrial engine in them. We had little to no problems with them. We even turbocharged a couple of the Ford powered tractors. Loren
