What criteria are we usising to define an American? Just being capitalist? Capitalizing on widespread panic in the wake of a national disaster is a shameless and disrespectful act. It is pure greed writ large my friends. Our family gas station stayed open tuesday until almost midnight to serve our customers who were afraid of a gas shortage. We did not raise our price one cent. I am also proud to say almost all of our local competitors did the same. Our supplier told us there was a 3 hour wait to load fuel transports at the terminal and that a 12 to 15 cent hike was possible. this is a far cry from $5.00 a gal. considering our prices here in central Wisconsin have been around $1.77/gal. I know what an American should not be at a time like this, and thats Greedy! C.R. Woodrich Central Wisconsin
