I now have a 1955 Ford 960 with 3 pt and LPTO that I use for light field work, mowing, 8 ft cultivator etc. I have found that tractor lacking in horsepower and decided that I needed more HP overall. I have the chance to pick up a 1966 JD 2510 as a replacement. However the HP on the two tractors is very close. Does the JD have more overall HP than the Ford or is that fact that it is 11 years newer affect anything? If I could try the JD first I would but that's impossible. I'm not looking to do heavy field work at all, I'm just not real happy with the Ford 960 and want to change. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Liz
