When I was born I was 6 weeks early. I joke today that I have had to fight for everything I have, and it all came the hard way. Just breathing on my own and staying alive didn't come easy. I was 4 LBS. 3 OZ. My oldest Brother gave me the name PEE-WEE. Most everyone in my family called me by that name, even some of the neighbors. Ma, Dad and my Brother have all past. Most of the old folks from our neck of the woods are gone also. Every so often I run into someone who went to school with me or lived the next road over who will use my nickname when addressing me, but not often. It is funny how if I am in a crowd and I hear someone shout "Hay Pee-Wee" I still look around for who is looking me up. Anyone else have a nickname that was common for many years, but has somehow now sorta been lost?? Al
