Tractor petroleum

I work for a oil company in the carribean and we have a client with an old Albin AL-23 engine (for marine use). The manual states that this engine can also run on tractor petroleum . we tried kerosene but it does not run to well on that (lot of smoke). Does any of you happen to have the specification for tractor petroleum (density viscosity, flashpoint etc.)
