The unit you have is called a vaporizing burner. They are potentially quite a fire hazard, but if maintained and operated properly, can be satisfactory. The carburetor should be calibrated each year with a graduated cylinder and a stop watch. Check the cc's of oil flowing a minute by running the output of the carburetor into the cylinder. Too much oil flow turns the thing into almost a bomb! Get good info before using this heater. Use only K1 for best results, Diesel fuel will ruin the heater!
