A model farmall out of time

a friend of mine has this lil a model tractor and we wasnt getting any fir or it waas very week, anyway we tore into the fireing system and fornd the points burned up, replaced those, and they fire real good now, my question is, i think when we tore it down we got it out time, its has what i would call a magneto on the right side of tractor, whitch has a big coil in it and on the back of it has points and condencor, there is two small gears on the back of the points housing and i think thats where we got her out of time at, we have a shop manual but dont understand it, can anyone at all help us in retime this lil jewel, she is a good lil tractor when it running, but it has got the best of me and him both this time,,,hahaha thx for all the help steve
