Have had some experience with those little V4 pony motors. They have a lot of problem with weak condensers or bad coils. The condenser will fool you in that it will still spark ,but weak enough that the little motor will spit and start hard,miss under load. Hope you dont need coils,they are getting very expensive. They work well with 4 automotive coils to replace the stock 2 lead coils,but you lose the stock appearance.
