The price of coils have come down thank goodness with the quality ones costing only $57.00 each. As mentioned previous crank the diesel without compression or fuel until oil pressure rises. Add compression, then shove throttle ahead off the shut down notch. Scary to watch operators just hit the poor little pup motor, clutch & transmission with the diesel having compression & fuel on before rotation even starts. Usually the same guys who are cussing the pup engine starting system for breaking down.
