Harry Allen was the dealer here. He was actually in Vickeryville,but they didn't have a post office,so he had a Sheridan address. Steve Long bought him out in the 70s. Uncle Claud bought a new Dexta in about 58 or 59. Harry sold several Majors around here. He sold at least one County 6 too. I don't know if he sold a second one or if that one just got around a lot. The last time I saw it,Gene Teft,a half mile down the road from the dealership had it. He'd had it for a lot of years. When he passed away it was sold on his auction. It went out west somewhere,Kansas I'm thinking.
